We exist for one reason – to grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. It's what we do. And we couldn't do it without the support of our incredible volunteers.
Volunteering with us is a very special and rewarding experience; you are making a real difference to a child and their families lives.
Opportunities to volunteer may include being a wish granter, office worker, translator, fundraiser, speaker, or event staff member. Wish-granting volunteers work in teams to grant the wishes that change lives. Make-A-Wish® trains these volunteers to help children identify their most heartfelt wish – and to bring the experience to life in a way that exceeds every expectation.
To provide the best experience possible, we require all potential volunteers to undergo an assessment. Our work involves children and sensitive information, so select volunteer positions require a criminal background check and evaluation every three years.
Volunteers are at the heart of what we do today. By volunteering with us you'll become a vital part of the biggest wish-granting organization in the world. And you'll be making a real difference to the lives of desperately ill children – and their families – across the UAE. You'll also be developing your skills, meeting new people, and having bags of fun!
Our application process is designed to help us make sure we match your needs, skills, and experiences with the right volunteer role. We want to find out who you are, what you can offer, and what you'd like to get out of your volunteering experience.
